The Investor Relations EDP area is looking to recruit an Investor Relations Specialist.

 

What you will do:

  • Support the definition and implementation of the company's communication strategy towards analysts and investors.
  • Assist in managing external relationships with financial markets. 
  • Ensure compliance with all legal obligations arising from EDP being a listed company with publicly traded shares.
  • Oversee the organization of Annual General Shareholders' Meetings.
  • Prepare, develop, and coordinate all main documents disclosed to the market, including quarterly results handouts and presentations, roadshow materials, significant events, and ad-hoc documents.
  • Gather capital market information and perform benchmarking with competitors and peers.
  • Follow up on the company's growth and investment plan.
  • Research and analyze reports released by the financial community about EDP, its peers, and the sector.
  • Conduct benchmark analysis with the peer group and prepare share performance reports.
  • Provide information to regulatory and supervisory entities (e.g., CMVM).
  • Prepare financial information to be reported and provide additional details or clarifications to capital markets.
  • Assist in the preparation of company-wide strategic analyses and presentations for executive management.
  • Organize and conduct investor communication sessions (conference calls, roadshows, Capital Markets Day), which include:
    • Presenting business plans to the market;
    • Organizing roadshows with EDP management or Investor Relations representatives in key financial centers, including investor targeting;
    • Scheduling and attending meetings and conference calls with interested investors and analysts;
    • Responding to questions from institutional investors, equity and credit analysts, and retail investors via email, phone, or in-person meetings.
  • Supervise the investor relations and corporate governance section of the EDP website.
  • Participate in the dividend payment process to shareholders.
  • Contribute to preparing EDP's annual reports and accounts, specifically sections related to financial analysis and corporate governance.
  • Assist in preparing debt issuance prospectuses.
  • Support the management of databases and Business Intelligence systems, including Power BI, Shape.

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Economics, Engineering, or other fields relevant to the position.
  • Between 2 and 6 years of professional experience in finance, ideally with experience as an investor relations analyst, equity analyst, or in corporate finance or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory;
  • Working knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese is a plus. 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint are mandatory); experience with Power BI,
  • AI tools, or Bloomberg is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, strong analytical skills, collaboration and networking capabilities, initiative, and proactiveness.
