GT Mid Atlantic, a leading construction equipment dealership in PA, MD, NJ and DE has an immediate opening for a RENTAL SPECIALIST – HEAVY EQUIPMENT.

Responsibilities include the coordination of sales and rental departments’ daily activities. Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus. Knowledge on shipping methods and procedures is a plus. Occasional lifting of 20-50lbs. Computer skills should include basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook or equivalent. The right candidate should have good communication skills, must be customer oriented, and be able to work varying hours depending on the workload.

Some general tasks in this position are: answer incoming rental calls; maintain call log; acquire information needed for establishing customer accounts, including insurance certificates and credit cards for payment; qualify customers’ needs with rental equipment availability; set up and maintain rental contracts accurately and timely; execute rental invoicing on a daily basis; communicate with transportation companies, when applicable, for rental deliveries and returns; assist the other rental coordinators and salesmen to maximize the utilization of the rental inventory within the entire company; and other duties as assigned by the Corporate Manager of Sales & Rental Support.
