OVERVIEW:

SUMMARY OF JOB:  

The Practice Manager provides day to day practice management oversight to all directly reporting HRPAS community based practices; sets annual goals, monitors performance and presents findings and recommendations to Director.  Supervises office managers, office coordinators and clinical and support staff.  Ensures physicians have adequate day to day practice support, supplies and equipment in each practice. As back up, Manager will assume advanced office tasks including computerized scheduling templates, precerting procedures or hospitalization, and scheduling surgery.  Exhibits independent decision making abilities.  Ensures practice compliance with accurate and timely billing and AR follow-up.  Focuses on the more effective utilization of resources, provision of high quality service to customers and the expansion and development of HRPAS.  Assures health services provided through HRHS are consistent with overall Mission, goals and objectives of HRPAS/HRHS.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School diploma required

5 years of health care management experience required

Knowledge and experience with EMRs; (preferably eClinical Works)

Knowledge of PC based electronic billing systems

Excellent knowledge of physician practice reimbursement methodologies and medical terminology.

Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding.

Knowledge of insurance plans

Able to maintain confidentiality.

Excellent communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Word; Excel; PowerPoint
