Job Summary:
The Data Processor, Senior is responsible for overseeing daily quality control tasks, managing team performance, and ensuring the accuracy and timely completion of data processing for various departments. This position involves working closely with internal teams and offshore resources to ensure data is processed according to customer requirements. The Senior Data Processor will be completing their own daily QC tasks, but will also be responsible for managing and supporting the QC staff, overseeing workflows, and ensuring the highest standards of quality are met. The role combines operational leadership with hands-on image editing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completing quality control and image editing of scanned records.
- Lead data processing efforts across multiple departments, ensuring efficient and accurate entry of real property records, court documents, and other critical data types.
- Oversee the performance of the QC, including assigning daily tasks, monitoring productivity, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Verify the data received from offshore teams and ensure it meets company standards. Perform quality checks to maintain zero-error rates in document processing.
- Run reports to track data entry progress, address issues, and identify areas for improvement. Provide regular updates to management on the status of data processing tasks.
- Train new team members and provide guidance to junior staff in best practices for data processing and maintaining accuracy.
- Act as the point of contact for clients, ensuring that their data processing needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Collaborate with customers to resolve issues or clarify data requirements.
- Create and maintain records of customer documents, tracking inventory for audit and compliance purposes.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to data processing and scanning equipment. Resolve issues as needed and ensure equipment is set up and functioning correctly.
- Continuously assess existing workflows and processes to identify areas for efficiency improvements and implement changes as necessary.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in data processing, document scanning, or a similar field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in supervising or managing teams is preferred.
- Some college coursework or equivalent professional experience in a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for inventory tracking and data management.
- Strong understanding of county records and legal documents, including document types and specific title business requirements.
- Excellent typing skills with the ability to type 60 words per minute or more with minimal errors.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with scanning equipment and server storage.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in data entry.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and oversee daily operations while managing a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and team interactions.

- Team Productivity: Ensure that the team consistently meets or exceeds production targets set by management.
Work Environment:
- The role involves working in a moderate office environment with individual workstations.
- Occasional movement around the office and handling customer documents will be required.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Constant use of office machinery, including computers, printers, and copiers.
- Frequent communication via telephone and email.
