Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to lead our outreach and referral development efforts within the VA Health System. This individual will be responsible for promoting our home supportive services and to VA case managers, social workers, discharge planners, and veterans themselves. The primary focus is to increase referrals and build strong relationships that enable more veterans to receive high-quality, in-home assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with VA Medical Center case managers, community care coordinators, and veteran-facing staff.
- Serve as a trusted liaison between our organization and the VA, educating staff and veterans on the availability, benefits, and eligibility for home care services.
- Identify and cultivate referral sources within the VA system to increase awareness and utilization of our services.
- Meet directly with veterans and their families to explain services, answer questions, and assist in the referral or intake process.
- Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure seamless service onboarding and satisfaction for referred veterans.
- Attend VA-sponsored events, resource fairs, and other community outreach opportunities to promote our services.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities, referrals, and communications using CRM and reporting tools.
- Track progress toward monthly and quarterly referral and revenue goals.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare sales, account management, or business development
- Significant professional experience with the VA Health System
- Familiarity with home and community-based services or personal care services (ADLs, homemaker/home health aide, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust quickly with clinical staff and veteran populations.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel to VA facilities and community events as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Veteran status or prior work with veterans is a plus.
