Key Responsibilities

Project Engineering & Field Execution

  • Collaborate with outside sales, product managers, and customers to understand project scope and engineer optimal solutions using process control technologies.
  • Translate project requirements into engineered systems, including control valves, pumps, instrumentation, and piping systems.
  • Perform field walkdowns, equipment inspections, and technical evaluations during pre-construction and commissioning phases.
  • Lead or support root cause analysis and reliability improvements through engineering analysis and field data (e.g., vibration analysis, ultrasound lubrication).
  • Ensure design compliance with industry codes and standards (e.g., API 686, P&ID updates).

Project Coordination & Lifecycle Management

  • Break down project scopes into detailed plans and schedules using project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Monitor and adjust project timelines, manage risks, and coordinate vendor lead times to ensure timely delivery and installation.
  • Oversee contract execution including order entry, procurement, and logistics.

Technical Documentation & Quality Assurance

  • Develop and review technical documentation packages for capital and customer projects.
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation including P&IDs, RFQs, BOMs, and operating manuals using tools like Bluebeam Revu and AutoCAD.
  • Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) reviews when needed.

Customer Service & Internal Support

  • Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal teams during all project phases.
  • Ensure project goals align with customer expectations, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Provide proactive status updates and solutions to avoid delays or disruptions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in engineering, project coordination, or process systems preferred.
  • Strong understanding of fluid handling systems, rotating equipment, and instrumentation.
  • Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and project tools like Asana.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills; able to juggle field visits, vendor coordination, and internal meetings effectively.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications & Skills

  • PMP certification or project management experience.
  • Vibration Analysis ISO CAT I or equivalent.
  • Experience working with industrial process systems, rotating equipment, or control valves.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
