Principal Objective

This position is responsible for managing the Business Banking department.  This includes setting the direction, developing relationships, and ensuring that the Business Banking department meets its annual business goals for loans and deposits.       

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of the Business Banking team.   
  • Responsible for the business unit loan and deposit goals.   
  • Liaison between business unit and the central underwriting group.    
  • Continue to maintain a business banking portfolio. 
  • Maintain individual sales goals.  
  • All other duties of Business Banker position.   

 

Job Specifications (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required)

  • Bachelor’ Degree or the equivalent of education and work experience.
  • 8+ years business/commercial banking experience.
  • Strong management skills and the ability to motivate.  
  • Proven sales and customer service skills with demonstrated success.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and follow-up.
  • Wide range of knowledge of banking, products & services and the local market.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
  • Must be able to travel throughout defined market.
  • Be willing to assume any other duties as may be required
