Position Duties

• Assist with setting up and organizing a new plant ecology and global change research lab
• Maintain greenhouse and growth chamber experiments, including watering, fertilizing, and monitoring plant health
• Help with wetland plant field data collection
• Maintain lab organization, including labeling materials, managing inventory, and preparing supplies
  
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, functional lab and work environment
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a graduate student in biology
  
• Interest or background in plant ecology and global change research
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  
• Comfort with both greenhouse/growth chamber work and laboratory tasks
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet plant care needs
  
• Previous experience in plant care and wetland ecology fieldwork
