Hybrid Associate Software Developer bei Mathtech, Inc.

Mathtech is seeking a motivated Associate Software Developer to serve as an intern within our Management Consulting division. This position will support the development of a cloud-based Enterprise tracking system for a state government agency and is ideal for an individual seeking hands-on experience in software development for a technology project.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Assist in requirements gathering, analysis, and review
• Participate in the design and development of application features using .NET Core
• Support configuration and deployment within AWS cloud infrastructure
• Conduct and document unit, integration, and system testing
• Assist with data migration and conversion activities
• Collaborate with team members during code reviews, sprint planning, and stand-up meetings
• Support documentation and tracking of project progress and issues
• Learn and apply agile and SDLC best practices

Required Qualifications: 

• Current college student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming, particularly using C# and .NET Core
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms, ideally AWS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiative

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Exposure to agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Interest in or experience with government or enterprise systems
