The Production Assembler III drives on time packaging and assembling of Nite Ize products to establish a strong fulfillment for external customers to support the Nite Ize brand.

The application for Assembler III is expected to be open through August 12, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembles fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations.
• Identifies units that fail to meet standards and replace or repair as necessary.
• Updates electronic schedule and efficiency tracking to keep order status and quantity accurate.
• Set up and shutdown workstation according to standard.
• Develops and participates in lean manufacturing principles such as 5S and problem solving.
• Effectively mentors and trains newly hired individuals
• Maintains machines such as eco staplers, tape machine, and blister seal machines to include swapping out plates and removing/replacing Teflon.
• Supports other departments in Operations by responding to fluctuations in labor demand to include picking orders, preparing orders to ship, and unloading containers.

3-5 years of previous production (assembly and packaging) experience.

High School diploma or GED.

General math and ability to use a calculator a must – addition, subtraction, multiplication. Knowledge of percentages a plus.

Moderate computer knowledge required, including ability to navigate internal and external internet resources. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SmartSheet a must.

Attention to detail, mechanically inclined.

Ability to think creatively, be positive and be innovative.

Ability to cultivate internal relationships

Possess analytical, problem solving, strategic thought process.

Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.

Adapt quickly to the everchanging business requirements and be able to thrive amidst chaos.

Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 50lbs.

Ability to stand, sit, and walk for the 8-hour shift

Work Hours: This is a regular, first shift, benefits-eligible position with normal hours of 6:00 - 2:30 pm, M-F. Some overtime and/or weekends may be required.

Hiring Compensation for Assembler III: Hiring range: $19.00 - 21.00/hour DOQ.
