WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As our CRM Customer Engagement Strategist, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a data-informed strategy to improve how Pape’ interacts with customers across their full lifecycle. Operating within Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud, this role blends strategic planning with hands-on activation. You will be required to turn insights into action by analyzing behavior, mapping journeys, and aligning business goals with customer needs.
Additionally, you will help design and deploy campaigns, segment strategies, and personalized touchpoints that span onboarding, nurturing, retention, and re-engagement. It is your work that will ensure every interaction with a Pape’ customer is timely, relevant, and informed by real-world data and metrics.

Key Collaboration Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic bridge between CRM, Marketing, and Sales teams, aligning journey design and engagement planning with business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers and analysts to turn customer strategy into automated, scalable CRM campaigns.
  • Translate metrics and behavior into segmentation models, journey logic, and audience prioritization.
  • Present roadmaps, journey frameworks, and engagement metrics to the Director of Group CRM and the CMO.
  • Participate in lifecycle planning, campaign reviews, and continuous improvement efforts for personalization and targeting.

This is a hybrid remote position and travel to the corporate office is required at times for team meetings. However, the successful candidate must reside in the Pape’ Group’s area of region which includes the states of Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 5+ years of experience in CRM strategy, lifecycle marketing, or MarTech operations.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, DEs, SQL, and personalization).
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud (or comparable CDP tools).
  • Comfortability using engagement metrics and segmentation models to shape journey and channel strategies.
  • Hands-on campaign experience with segmentation, journey mapping, and performance reporting.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills capable of simplifying platform capabilities for business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data governance and privacy frameworks (e.g., opt-in logic, CCPA/GDPR compliance).
  • Experience with Databricks, AWS, or predictive scoring models is a plus.

 

Compensation: $115,000-120,000/yr (Depending on Experience)
