SUMMARY
The Service Coordinator shall be directly responsible for the coordination of Field Service personnel for field service activities. Interfaces with customers, refurbishment, sales managers and service technicians. Directly oversees the dispatching operation. Assists technicians with developing improved efficiency, scheduling, service, and PM order completion.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handles dispatching and scheduling for assigned area/region
- Responsible for work order closure rates
- Handles the pre-invoice approval process for work orders; reconciling and correcting labor, travel, expenses and parts lines
- Responsible for overseeing the reconciliation and approval of timesheets
- Assists with meeting onsite access requirements
- Works in cooperation with other Service Coordinators
- Keeps Service Technicians up to date with regard to the company and their assignments
- Establishes and maintains good relations with external and internal customers
- Suggests, recommends, and implements areas within the department to improve efficiency
- Provides support and assistance to Management, Service Technicians, Service Coordinators, Refurbishment, Sales
- Understand and be technically proficient in the business systems of the company
- Reviews work-order invoicing with customers when needed
- Ensure technicians understand and meet policy and procedure requirements
- Assist internal entities with manpower utilization and scheduling as needed
- On Call Duty is required
- Other duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years administration/office experience
- Proficient to Advance in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organized and able to multitask and handle high volume of work
- Strong attention to detail
- Sense of urgency, deadline driven
- On Call Duty is required
