Workweek Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain provider credentialing processes using Verity (CredentialStream) software or similar credentialing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Article 28, FTCA, and HRSA regulations.
  • Oversee and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously while upholding data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders using strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Certification from the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS), such as CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist), preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical staff credentialing in a healthcare or FQHC setting is required.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED (associate’s degree or higher preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required
  • Demonstrated experience with credentialing software and systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear as part of daily duties.
  • Occasional stooping, bending, and lifting or moving up to 25 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
