Position Overview:

The QAR Site Visit Specialist Liaison Center Lead will serve as a mental health subject-matter expert supporting the enhancement of state and U.S. territory mental health systems under the Mental Health Block Grant (MHBG) parameters. The Liaison will actively participate in Quality Assurance Reviews (QAR) and coordinate site visit activities, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines and Bizzell's internal standards.


  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned QAR site visits.
  • Coordinate logistics and serve as the point of contact between Bizzell, the QAR Team, SAMHSA, and site stakeholders.
  • Participate in all phases of QAR site visits (preparation, on-site engagement, and post-site reporting).
  • Prepare and distribute site visit materials, including sign-in sheets, checklists, and question guides.
  • Take detailed notes during site visits and for related tasks.
  • Update tracking systems and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with additional Task 3 responsibilities, such as conducting environmental scans.
  • Actively engage in internal and external team meetings.
  • Compile site visit notes.
  • Coordinating assignments for notetaking.
  • Create Reports.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in public speaking.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with state mental health systems management and site visit operations.
  • Subject-matter expertise in mental health systems and MHBG regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal regulations including 42 CFR, 45 CFR, and 2 CFR Part 200.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and PowerPoint), SharePoint, and WebBGas platforms.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

  

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to identify, analyze, and assess detailed information.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information effectively.
