Job Summary:

The Marketing and Trade Show Administrator plays a key role in executing integrated marketing and trade show initiatives aligned with the company's growth strategy. This position supports campaign implementation, manages logistics for national and regional trade shows, and ensures brand consistency across communication platforms. The Administrator works cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and external vendors to drive engagement and visibility for TrafFix Devices’ product portfolio.


Essential Functions:

· Coordinate logistics and execution of trade shows and industry events, including booth design, shipping, staff travel coordination, lead capture, and post-event reporting.

· Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and traditional media channels.

· Maintain and update marketing materials, including brochures, product guides, presentations, and sales tools to ensure branding consistency and relevance.

· Serve as liaison to marketing vendors, including print services, media outlets, and promotional product suppliers.

· Assist with the scheduling and production of content for social media, email campaigns, and the company website.

· Monitor and report on the performance of marketing and event initiatives, suggesting improvements based on data and feedback.

· Support lead generation efforts through CRM input, trade show lead follow-up, and list management.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, sales, and customer service) to coordinate messaging and ensure marketing efforts support overall sales goals.


General Functions:

· Take ownership of assigned projects with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality, timely results.

· Work collaboratively across departments and with third-party vendors to meet deadlines and execute marketing initiatives.

· Keep current on industry trends, competitor activity, and marketing best practices.

· Participate actively in department meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  

Skills and Abilities:

· Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail and organizational efficiency.

· Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional interpersonal skills for vendor and team collaboration.

· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro), Microsoft Office, and email marketing platforms.

· Analytical Thinking: Ability to evaluate campaign performance and trade show ROI to inform decision-making.

· Initiative & Accountability: Proactive and dependable in delivering results and following through on commitments.

· Customer Service Orientation: Comfortable interfacing with internal and external stakeholders with professionalism and care.


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least three years of previous experience in the field of knowledge, including direct involvement with trade show coordination.
  • The successful candidate will have demonstrated success coordinating multi-channel campaigns and trade show logistics.

  • Must be able to perform duties in a fast-paced office environment and travel occasionally for trade show events.
  • May require lifting marketing materials and trade show components (up to 30 lbs).
  • Physical dexterity: The employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Vision: The vision requirements for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Endurance: The employee must be able to perform tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Exposure to elements: The employee will be working in an office environment and may be exposed to minimal noise levels.

Other Notes:

  • This position requires travel throughout the year up to 10% of the time. Travel requirements are up to five weeks per year, depending on business needs and schedule.
  • The individual hired for this role will be at times expected to work more than 8 hours in a day or 40 hours a week, depending on project needs or business requirements. As a salaried exempt employee, overtime will not be paid for any additional time worked.
