Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop annual plan and annual budget for the golf operations.
• Follow annual operations plan and adhere to budget.
• Purchase supplies and materials within budgetary limitations.
• Supervise, hire, train, and discipline golf operations team according to company policy.
• Handle customer and member communications.
• Chair weekly and monthly staff and safety meetings.
• Maintain security of golf course property and buildings.
• Oversee golf cart fleet operation schedule and maintenance.
• Maintain working knowledge of operation manual.
• Follow insurance procedures and all emergency procedures.
• Monitor the Food and Beverage facility to ensure quality of food and  timeliness of service daily.
• Work with outside agencies to book golf outings, quote green and cart fee rentals and make appropriate tee times.
• Maintain familiarity with the terms of all leases and contracts.
• Responsible for monitoring all aspects of payroll in a timely manner.
• Maintain active role in the operation.
• Working shifts in various departments to ensure manager's familiarity with the customers and the facility.

Safety Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Actively demonstrate, encourage, train, and model safety rules and guidelines in accordance with company, OSHA, EPA, and other state and federal law requirements.
• Actively participate in the safety meetings, providing and documenting safety training and offering improvement suggestions.
• Take personal responsibility for safety every day.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years golf experience.
• Must have fundamental computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Publisher.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong, effective relationships with customers and vendor partners.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Passionate and knowledgeable regarding golf industry.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, is organized, and detail-oriented.
• Weekend and evening availability.
• Understanding of internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to interact well with others in a team enviornment.
