“This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.”

AL Operator

Purpose/Description
Set up, operate, or tend machines that perform a variety of food preparation functions. Program, feed, monitor, assemble, and disassemble machines. Transport product to and from machines. Weigh product and perform quality checks.


Work Tasks

· Sort, grade, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.

· Observe machine operations to ensure quality

· Monitor the production line

· Inspect and remove defective products

· Start machine by engaging controls.

· Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.

· Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.

· Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature.

· Supply materials to spindles, conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices

· Clean production equipment.
