We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Relationship Assistant I to join our team supporting the Mifflin and Juniata region. In this key support role, you’ll assist Commercial Relationship Managers with a wide range of administrative and portfolio management duties. From preparing loan documentation to handling customer inquiries, your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset will help ensure a seamless banking experience for our clients.
Portfolio and Loan Administration
- Support Commercial Relationship Managers with day-to-day portfolio management, including loan documentation, customer inquiries, and account maintenance.
- Coordinate the preparation, review, and processing of commercial loan documents and supporting materials such as credit reports, flood certifications, and UCC filings.
- Monitor and track loan activity, including financial reporting, covenant compliance, and expiring credit lines.
- Assist with risk rating assessments and pipeline updates.
- Maintain accurate loan records by organizing, scanning, and reviewing post-settlement documentation.
Client Service and Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for business clients, responding to inquiries and providing appropriate product recommendations.
- Participate in customer service and sales activities, including joint client calls and cross-selling of bank products and services.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure timely issue resolution and a high-quality client experience.
Transaction Processing
- Handle customer transactions such as wire transfers, disbursements, account transfers, and loan payments.
Compliance and Operational Support
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and applicable banking regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support department goals and operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a lending-related role, such as banking, credit, or legal documentation.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up abilities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- May be required to obtain a Notary Public commission.
Physical Requirements:
- Primarily office-based with moderate standing, walking, bending, and lifting (10–20 lbs occasionally).

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' prior experience in a lending-related role, documentation capacity preferred (such as banking, legal, or credit functions); Associate degree preferred
- Excellent oral & written communications and mathematics skills
- Excellent time management skills allowing for efficient handling of multiple demands and completing priorities
- Superior follow-up and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure to achieve results and to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
