THE POSITION
- Work closely with the Head of Partnership Sales, FIFA Women’s World Cup Sales Lead and the broader commercial team to deliver on sponsorship sales objectives for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™, with a strong emphasis on the Brazilian and LATAM markets.
- Identify and pursue high-value sponsorship leads aligned with the commercial strategy of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™.
- Source, qualify, and engage potential sponsors, securing meetings and presenting tailored partnership proposals to major regional and international brands.
- Develop bespoke sponsorship packages that address the unique needs and objectives of prospective partners.
- Lead negotiations through to successful acquisition, ensuring alignment with FIFA’s commercial guidelines and values.
- Collaborate with the Strategy and Planning team to identify market opportunities and build compelling sales arguments.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key sponsor prospects, ensuring continuity and value beyond the tournament.
- Serve as a key point of contact for the FIFA27 team in Brazil on sales-related matters, supporting or managing the sales process as needed.
- Stay informed on emerging sponsorship categories, regional industry trends, and relevant market research, including pricing and inventory benchmarks.
- Build strong external visibility for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ commercial opportunities, fostering inbound interest and leads through proactive industry engagement.
- Lead and support the organisation of commercial events, conferences, hosting programmes, dedicated to cultivating business relationships and building into the sales pipeline.
YOUR PROFILE
- Highly professional, articulate and results-driven.
- Strong presenter and excellent relationship building skills.
- Proven experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or commercial partnerships, preferably in sports or entertainment.
- Strong network and understanding of the Brazilian and LATAM commercial landscape.
- Experience in dealing with and negotiating within different cultures.
- Ability to work independently in a multi-task position within a dynamic, team-based environment.
- Solutions orientated.
- Solid time management and organizational skills.
- Client oriented, efficient and effective.
- Adept at handling and protecting confidential information.
- Excellent team player and relationship builder.

- An appreciation of the international sports federation environment, passion for women’s sports and global events.
- University degree in business, sports marketing or related area
- Excellent in Word / PowerPoint / Excel / PDF / MS Teams / Sales CRM tools
- Ability to travel often and when required.
- Right to work in Brazil.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Fluent in Portuguese (spoken and written)
- Any other FIFA language (Spanish especially) is an advantage
- Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro.
