Responsibilities:Intrado is looking to hire a Senior Sales Account Executive to join our Government Solutions team.
As a Senior Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for building strong relationships across the Public Safety industry to deliver ECaTS analytics solutions, which empower Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) to convert raw 9-1-1 and NG9-1-1 call data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is a dynamic sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding quotas, a deep understanding of public safety technology, and the ability to navigate complex government sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management & Growth:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of government, municipal, and public safety agency accounts focused on PSAPs and NG9-1-1 operations
- Develop strategies to expand relationships and drive adoption of ECaTS analytics within existing accounts
- Identify and target new opportunities to increase market penetration across public safety agencies and state/local 9-1-1 programs
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas through consultative, solution-based selling
- Conduct market research to understand agency needs, regulatory initiatives, and funding mechanisms driving PSAP modernization
- Develop and deliver tailored sales plans, presentations, and proposals demonstrating ECaTS’ value and ROI
- Solution Selling:
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of the ECaTS analytics suite, integrations with CPE and NGCS providers, and compatibility with existing PSAP technology
- Clearly articulate how ECaTS transforms raw 9-1-1 and NG9-1-1 call data into operational and strategic insights that enhance PSAP performance
- Conduct live demos, workshops, and product trials to showcase analytics capabilities
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers, including 9-1-1 directors, state coordinators, procurement officers, and agency administrators
- Partner with internal teams (product, engineering, and customer success) to ensure seamless sales-to-implementation experience
- Pipeline Management & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate opportunity and activity records in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Provide timely sales forecasts, territory plans, and performance metrics to leadership
- Compliance & Procurement:
- Navigate complex government procurement processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and state contracts
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations during the sales process
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information technology, or a related field
- Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience selling Public Safety Solutions, analytics platforms, Call Center Solutions, and/or Cloud PBX systems
- 2+ years of experience in the 9-1-1 or public safety industry (PSAPs, state/local 9-1-1 programs, etc.)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales cycles with government customers
- Strong understanding of PSAP workflows, public safety operations, and NG9-1-1 initiatives
- Ability to effectively communicate the value of analytics and data-driven decision-making to public safety leaders
- Skilled in navigating government contracts, grants, and funding mechanisms
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and knowledge of software, hardware, and cloud-based solutions relevant to public safety (CAD, RMS, NGCS, AI-driven analytics)

The starting salary is anticipated between $110,000 and $120,000 and will be commensurate with experience. This position is also eligible for commissions of $96,000 at plan with a total package of $206,000 to $216,000.
