Project Description

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer to join our growing data team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience with modern data technologies. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and analysts to build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.

Technologies

  • SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar)
  • Python (or another scripting language)
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines;
  • Support data integration from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files);
  • Help ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability;
  • Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements;
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation;
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, resolving issues as they arise;

Job Requirements

  • 1+ years of practical experience or relevant internship in a data-focused role (preferred);
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience);
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server);
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (preferably Python);
  • Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing fundamentals;
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and best practices in data engineering;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities;
  • English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher;
