Key responsibilities include managing group email inbox tasks, processing change orders, resolving invoice discrepancies, and assisting with contract renewals. In addition, the Procurement Analyst will support the management of promotional goods and inventory, track procurement activities, and assist in spend analytics. Compensation
$23.00 - $27.30
Non-exempt Grade 12

The compensation range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. What you’ll do
- Assist in procurement operations, including administrative support for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, change orders, and other activities to meet business requirements.
- Negotiate and manage routine supplier agreements, minimizing risk in external relationships.
- Understand business needs and foster a collaborative environment with key stakeholders.
- Support or execute sourcing events and reduce external spend through competitive bidding processes.
- Schedule meetings between business areas and suppliers for demonstrations or issue resolution as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and practices.
- Build relationships with business areas to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment.
- Provide regular updates and reports as needed to stakeholders.
- Utilize procurement, sourcing, and inventory systems (e.g., Workday) for preparing contracts, purchase orders, and competitive bids.
- Assist with supplier onboarding and develop prospective supplier lists for projects.
- Explore alternative sources for goods and services to meet business needs.
- Maintain positive supplier relations and manage issues such as delays or miscommunications.
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Entry level - 0-2 years experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Solid understanding of procurement processes and best practices, with a focus on administrative tasks related to purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Working knowledge of Source-to-Pay (S2P) software, with familiarity in using procurement systems like Workday.
- Strong negotiation, business acumen, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) to support procurement documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Ability to read and comprehend legal contract language, with an understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Ability to support redlining and negotiating routine contract terms and conditions.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Capable of gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing information to draw actionable insights and make informed decisions.
- Ability to resolve problems effectively and efficiently, taking proactive steps to address issues as they arise.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in strategic sourcing, spend analytics, and procurement processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Experience or knowledge of supplier onboarding processes and the ability to explore alternative sources for goods and services.
- Capable of supporting competitive bidding processes and sourcing events to drive cost savings.
- Participation in professional training and development to continue growing procurement expertise.
Bonus if you have
- Experience in procurement, vendor management, or supply chain support, with exposure to procurement operations and processes is preferred.
- Entry-level certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., Procurement certification) are desirable but not required.
- Exposure to project management or process improvement concepts is a plus.
