In this role you will lead a team of representatives of business stakeholders with IT. You and your team members will be the subject matter experts for their respective systems, having advanced technical knowledge of system architecture, infrastructure, and integrations. You will lead team interaction in the day-to-day production support and SDLC changes for respective business groups. You will drive operational effectiveness, and the identification/implementation of continuous improvement solutions to business issues. You will collaborate, develop, and maintain internal and external relationships.

• Work Arrangement: This role is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days/week in the office
• The starting salary range for this role is between $103,000-$155,000 annually
Your New Role:
•Drive collaboration and knowledge sharing, compelling adherence to defined processes and procedural guidelines and capitalizing on opportunities for improvement to foster efficiency.
•Partner with business and IT stakeholders, using advanced subject matter expertise, to ensure facts and details are accurate so that project deliverables will meet standards, industry best practices, and business objectives.
•Influence the adoption of continuous improvement initiatives by assessing alignment of current process, program, and systems, recognizing opportunities for standardization, increased efficiency, cost reduction, increased quality, and improved user experience to enhance performance of position, team, and company.
•Subject Matter Expert (SME) to key internal stakeholders on various matters such as system performance and issues/impacts downstream, including the daily monitoring of service delivery for assigned area, ensures that high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved.
•Resolve complex production issues by providing accurate detailed solutions while educating internal and external stakeholders on how to manage independently in the future.
•Identify and implement risk reduction opportunities for projects and change management by creating or reviewing project charters, solution designs, QA test matrices and results, execute user acceptance testing and postproduction validation for all assigned systems, infrastructure, and integration related releases, most of which happen after hours and over the weekends.
•Guide the launch of additional systems and processes into teams by creating documentation, training, and providing transition support.
•Partner with developers and other team members to share technical vision, analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs and gather information to meet requests within system of responsibility and achieve division goals.
•Manage expenditures, ensure an appropriate distribution of workload among staff members, and maintain complete and appropriate staffing.
•Mentor team members through active coaching, performance reviews, ensuring project and testing objectives are met on time and with high quality. Ensure team compliance with QBE processes/procedures and key controls as required to minimize risk and meet audit requirements.
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Experience
• 7 years relevant experience

•Navigate the organizational structure by networking and building trusted relationships with senior leaders among multiple business units.

•Leverage financial and business acumen to deliver business benefits that help the business meet their objectives.
•Adapt and be flexible in a complex, changing environment.
Preferred Knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of relevant systems and system architecture
•Advanced knowledge of system analysis best practices and procedures
•Advanced knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology
•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, SQL query skills
Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
