Job Summary:
As a junior cloud service engineer (CSE) you will support the designing, building, delivering, and documenting cloud-based solutions to our customers. You will report to the Cloud Engineering lead and support delivery to meet customer business objectives. You will work with the team to ensure that our cloud-based solutions are integrated with existing systems and meet all security and compliance standards. This role requires work at the customer site 3-5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Build, secure, and document cloud-based solutions to our customers
- Install and configure applications and tools as directed; automate solutions when possible
- Contribute to program documentation
- Perform system testing; automate testing when possible
- Apply security and compliance standards; support cyber security team information requests
What you’ll need:
- 1 year of experience working in AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments
- 2 years of experience in scripting, automation tools, or software development to include debugging skills
- 2 years of experience with Linux or Windows administration
- 1 year of experience deploying and configuring software
- DoD 8570 IAT II or DoD 8140 Equivalent Certification
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer or engineering field, or supporting certifications and 4 years relevant job or military experience in lieu of degree
Bonus Points if you have:
- Understanding of cloud architecture, security, and compliance
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Excellent written communication and verbal interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong customer service skills
Security Clearance:
Must have an active Secret clearance; TS clearance is preferred
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
