Job Title: Sr. Back-End Engineer Job Type: Full-time Location: Remote Job Summary: As a Back-End Engineer, you will work closely with the Head of Engineering to shape the technical strategy for enhancing user experience. You will be pivotal in championing technology selection and best practices in app and web development, bringing technical excellence and innovation to our codebase. Tech Stack: Our tech stack is mostly TypeScript, allowing engineers to implement end-to-end functionality. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to execute product strategies. • Lead the full development cycle including design, development, testing, and launching. • Review code and design documents, providing feedback on product specifications. • Actively participate in code contributions and reviews. • Execute the product roadmap, ensuring seamless order flow and dynamic pricing for our product. • Maintain world-class product velocity with consistent communication to leadership. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Minimum of 6-7+ years in active coding with a passion for innovation and building new things. • Well versed in Typescript and DevOps technologies such as containerization, microservices, message brokers. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments. • Self-directed, driven, and innovative with an entrepreneurial spirit. • Excellent communication skills, adept at discussing complex topics in a remote setting. • Experience in implementing and monitoring cloud service metrics. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience with global product expansion strategies.
