cloopio`s mission is to connect distributed teams around the world. With our one-click booking platform, companies can plan their events (offsites, retreats, summits) in Europe. With our curated employee experiences, we offer accommodation, meeting facilities, food options, and activities. cloopio is a spin-off of Lufthansa.

We are seeking a talented freelance Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. As the sole tech enthusiast initially, you will play a crucial role in building, scaling and maintaining our platform, a unique marketplace for companies to seamlessly book offsite events. This position requires a combination of strong frontend expertise, solid backend/API skills, and the ability to integrate and support various third-party tools and SaaS platforms. Furthermore, you will work closely with our CTO, our marketing, sales and customer support teams to keep advancing our platform with more features and capabilities.

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the CTO to understand business & product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain the website's frontend, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
• Implement connection with the backend using REST APIs and GraphQL
• Ensure high level of the quality, security and maintainability of your code and entire application
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, providing technical support for your internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and recommend improvements to optimize the platform.

Your Profile:

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of entire web stack, including integration of front- and back-end.
• Experience working with and integrating third-party tools and SaaS platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• Very good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical team members.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a startup environment, where versatility and taking ownership are essential.
• Most importantly, you feel excited about making cloopio.com even better and improving the user experience.

Valuable additions

• Previous experience in a startup environment
• Previous experience with a travel-tech and/or booking process implementation
• UX/UI design skills

Offer package

• Day rate EUR 200-300, depending on individual capabilities
• 1 month initial contract with possibility to extend and join full-time
• Fully remote
