First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our FinTech tribe. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable software applications, leveraging the latest technologies and best practices.

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and develop software solutions for our platform, focusing on high availability, scalability, and multi-regional support
• Develop backend services using .NET Core and deploy on Azure using services such as App Service, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Redis, and others
• Develop front-end applications using React & Redux, JavaScript & TypeScript
• Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps
• Innovate and execute solutions on a daily basis, working on initiatives using a wide range of technologies
• Learn and contribute in multiple technologies, reducing dependencies and enabling faster, more frictionless development
• Take ownership of projects and gradually take ownership of some part of the product
• Participate in the day-to-day activities of the team, including stand-ups and retro meetings

?️ You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

• Strong understanding of at least one technology (.NET, React, CSS, Javascript, Microservices)
• Practical skills in a wide set of technologies (.NET, React, Typescript, SQL, DevOps, CI/CD, SRE)
• Demonstrated experience owning projects
• Active experience with leading development teams is an advantage
• Effective communication in English
