You are

A skilled Software Engineer with at least 5+ years of experience, ready to join our dynamic team. In this remote position, you will write clean, functional, and reusable code for both front-end and back-end application components. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and executing effective data migration plans, setting up and configuring services on AWS, and actively participating in Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. You will also be responsible for ongoing support, new features, and reports.


The Skills

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least three years of real industry experience
  • 3+ years of experience building backend and frontend solutions using the Python framework
  • Proficiency in website development, web services, and API development
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies, including REACT, TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, REST APIs, CSS, HTML, and SQL
  • Familiarity with Docker containers and relational databases, particularly Sunburst
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience in unit testing and a strong commitment to producing high-quality code
  • Experience with federated search, Pandas, data visualization, and working in a highly regulated environment
  • Podman experience is a plus

  • Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development roadmap
  • Begin working on assigned tasks and delivering high-quality code


60 Days

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the company's development stack and best practices
  • Actively participate in design and code reviews, providing valuable insights and feedback
  • Take ownership of complex tasks and deliver them within the agreed-upon timelines
  • Contribute to the improvement of the development processes and documentation


90 Days

  • Become a key contributor to the team, consistently delivering high-quality code and solutions
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues and bottlenecks in the development process
  • Mentor junior developers and share knowledge with the team
  • Actively participate in client meetings and provide technical expertise to ensure project success
