LV Petroleum is a leading operator in the fuel and convenience store industry, known for delivering high quality service and maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for customers nationwide. We are seeking a strong and experienced Store Manager to lead operations.
What You Will Do
- You will oversee all daily store operations including inventory management cash handling and store presentation ensuring a clean safe and well organized environment for customers and team members
- You will lead recruit hire and train a high performing team while building a culture of accountability strong customer service and consistent execution You will coach and develop employees to maintain high standards and support long term success
- You will focus on delivering an excellent customer experience by creating a welcoming environment addressing customer needs and resolving concerns professionally and efficiently
- You will drive store performance by supporting sales growth implementing promotions and ensuring operational standards are consistently met to achieve business goals
- You will manage reporting including sales performance inventory tracking and employee performance metrics to support operational decisions and leadership review
- You will ensure full compliance with company policies and all local state and federal regulations including health safety and operational requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Strong leadership experience in convenience store travel center or retail operations
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance
- Experience with inventory control cash management and store operations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and make effective decisions
- Experience with sales goals and operational reporting preferred
Requirements
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management or a similar role.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and work with budgets.
- Comfortable working with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods and traverse the store as needed.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required.
- Ability to operate cash registers and other store equipment effectively.
