Description

Are you passionate about helping Education Technology companies transform the way learners and educators experience the classroom? Would you like to be part of a team that redefines how Canadian EdTechs harness the power of the cloud to deliver innovative, data-driven, and AI-powered solutions? Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading a generational technology shift, and you could be at the centre of that excitement; building mind-share, earning customer trust, and accelerating AWS adoption across Canada's thriving EdTech ecosystem.

As a Senior Solutions Architect (SA), you will be the trusted technical advisor for our most ambitious EdTech customers. You will own end-to-end technical engagements, diving deep into customer challenges and getting hands-on with technology. Whether a customer is looking to leverage Generative AI to personalize learning at scale, build modern data and analytics platforms to unlock student outcomes, or architect resilient and secure cloud-native applications, you will guide them from whiteboard to production.

You will engage across every level of an organization; from C-suite executives shaping product strategy, to engineering teams building the next generation of learning platforms. The SA combines deep technical expertise with business acumen: you are equally comfortable presenting complex cloud architectures to a room of engineers and articulating the business value of those solutions to a non-technical audience. You will author whitepapers and reference architectures that capture the imagination of the broader SA community, our partners, and our customers. You will deliver technical webinars, speak at public events, contribute to open-source projects, and potentially file patents that could shape future AWS products and features.

SAs within our team have experience designing secure, compliant, and high-performing solutions. They possess exceptional communication skills and the technical depth to earn credibility with any audience. SAs are expected to provide thought-leadership on emerging trends in AI/ML, Generative AI, and data-driven education. By nature, the SA is a builder and a leader with whom customers are eager to engage.

If you are excited about the intersection of cloud technology, artificial intelligence, and education, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same, we would love to hear from you.

This role is based out of our Toronto office and supports EdTech customers, with approximately 15% travel expected outside the province to engage with customers across Canada.
