Job Overview:

Analytic Partners is seeking a Senior Accountant with demonstrated experience supporting the month-end close process. This role requires strong technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, exceptional attention to detail, and sound analytical and problem-solving skills to support the month-end close, financial consolidation and financial reporting in a multi-currency/multinational environment, including financial consolidation activities. The Senior Accountant will partner cross-functionally across the organization to enhance internal controls and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting and accounting processes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist with the monthly close and consolidation of financial statements, including the accurate application of multi-currency accounting, eliminations, and related entries.
  • Support financial reporting by preparing basic financial statements, management reporting (e.g., flash reports and dashboards), and ad hoc analyses as requested by the CFO.
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with established policies and timelines.
  • Perform financial statement and account analytics, including analysis of general ledger activity and explanation of variances versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to support financial planning, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Provide support for the year-end financial statement audit process, including the preparation of schedules and responses to auditor inquiries.
  • Conduct GAAP research and support the implementation of new accounting guidance, as applicable.
  • Ensure adherence to established accounting policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and enforcement of an effective internal control environment.
  • Identify, recommend, and support the implementation of process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

What we look for in you:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 4–6 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Microsoft Office, ERP, and business systems experience.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge, including demonstrated proficiency with pivot tables, formulas, shortcut keys, and other advanced Excel tools and functions as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and communicate professionally with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work and manage responsibilities independently.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively based on volume, urgency, and deadlines.
  •  

    Preferred:

    • Knowledge of NetSuite.
    • Multinational and multi-currency experience.
    • CPA designation preferred.
    • Public accounting.
