Our client, a high-growth leader in the sales performance technology sector, is seeking a creative and high-energy Founding Creative & Brand Strategist. This role is designed for a visionary who specializes in bold ideas and high-impact brand experiences that challenge the traditional B2B marketing mold.

You will be responsible for dreaming up daring concepts—ranging from guerrilla marketing stunts and field activations to thoughtful, surprise-and-delight gifting—and bringing them to life. This position is part artist, part producer, and part strategist, sitting at the intersection of brand personality and pipeline generation.

Key Responsibilities

Guerrilla & Field Activations

  • Conceive unconventional marketing stunts and activations that drive brand buzz both in-person and online.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of stunts, including sourcing props, coordinating vehicles, and planning complex logistics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure brand experiments align with the organization’s overall identity.

Content Production & Collaboration

  • Partner with social media teams to transform physical activations into high-quality video content, blog pieces, and customer stories.
  • Identify target accounts and customers alongside Sales and Customer Success to deliver personalized, memorable experiences.
  • Work with Demand Generation and Events teams to ensure creative activations translate into measurable pipeline.
  • Build a library of evergreen “brand personality” content to maintain a consistent market presence.

Operational Ownership

  • Manage budgets for all experiential projects, including props, transportation, and event production.
  • Develop repeatable playbooks for activations, analyzing performance to scale successful ideas.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators, including engagement, impressions, and influenced pipeline.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional experience, with at least 1+ years specifically in experiential marketing, guerrilla marketing, creative production, or brand marketing.
  • Location: Ability to work on-site 5 days a week at the San Francisco office.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel 20-40% for customer office visits, events, and city activations.
  • Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen or hold a valid US work visa.
  • Creative Intuition: A proven track record of generating viral or highly engaging ideas that break through the "B2B noise."
  • Organizational Skills: Strong project management abilities to execute "wild" ideas with precision and efficiency.
  • Preferred Background: Experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth startups is a plus, as is a background in video production, improv, or event performance.

Benefits

  • Growth: Opportunity to join a category-defining company during a period of rapid scaling (expanding from 15 to 30+ employees this year).
  • Creative Freedom: Direct access to leadership that encourages unconventional marketing and provides the autonomy to pitch and execute "out of the box" ideas.
  • Health: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Perks: Daily free lunch in the office and commuter benefits.
  • Impact: Massive ownership over a new marketing function with the ability to define the brand’s physical presence in the market.

Interview Process

  1. Initial Screen: Preliminary conversation to discuss experience and alignment.
  2. Take-Home Assignment: A creative exercise followed by a review call with the GTM team.
  3. Panel Interview: Final round with the company founders.
