Field Engineer - Industrial Construction at Great Basin Industrial

Description

We are seeking an Industrial Construction Field Engineer to join our team in Rock Springs, Wyoming! You will be responsible for the management and delivery of industrial construction-related projects.

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Rock Springs, WY

Salary: Starting at $50,000/yr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision

• Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining percentage of completed/installed materials and work

• Support in the preparation of work plans and packages
• Assist in compiling, processing, and confirming daily timesheets
• Assist in the preparation of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s)
• Participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, safety meetings, and safety training
• Order and schedule material deliveries
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups on the jobsite
• Supervise field operations

Requirements

• Analysis and critical thinking skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite with strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s).
• Leadership qualities
• Must be willing to travel short/long term
