Description
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on HSE Manager to lead and elevate our Health, Safety, and Environmental culture across the organization. - Develop, implement, and verify global HSE standards, policies, procedures, and processes
- Develop, monitor, drive, and report HSE performance metrics and status reviews, using data to improve HSE performance
- Provide in-the-field coaching and training to implement and verify HSE standards and practices
- Manage HSE documentation, including procedures, processes, and records
- Expert-level expertise to develop, implement, and audit management systems such as ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and NEBOSH frameworks, with strong regulatory compliance and technical proficiency
- In-depth knowledge of local, national, and international HSE laws and regulations, including OSHA, EPA, UK HSE Executive, EU-OSHA, and applicable industry standards
- Strong skills to develop and execute risk assessments, including Bowtie, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, and Hazard and Operability Studies, as well as hazard control and incident investigation methodologies such as Fishbone, TapRoot, and 5 Whys
- Expert-level experience to develop and implement regulatory and industry best-practice compliance across all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environment
- Ability to analyze complex HSE data to make informed decisions and drive continuous safety improvements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly
- Conduct internal and external audits, including responsibilities as a lead auditor
Requirements
- 10+ years in progressive HSE roles, including significant managerial/leadership experience.
- Experienced with leading and building a high performing, multinational team of HSE professionals in region-based model focused on a globalization and standardization.
- Confidence with HSE management software, e-learning platforms, data analysis tools, and standard IT systems.
- Proficient in developing standards, procedures, and processes.
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Science, Safety) is standard; a master’s degree strengthens qualifications.
- Professional credentials like CSP, NEBOSH Diploma, CIH, or OHSAS/ISO certifications are often required or preferred.
