In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for goods and services essential to our operations. You will play a critical role in negotiating contracts, developing supplier relationships, and ensuring that our procurement strategies align with the company’s goals. Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate current vendor performance.
- Prepare and issue requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotes (RFQs).
- Analyze supplier contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future procurement needs based on demand.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a procurement specialist or in a similar role within the electric or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
