The Position
The Director of People Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving the systems, processes, and policies that power CallRail’s employee experience. As the #2 to the VP of Talent & Culture, this role bridges strategy and execution—ensuring People Operations, HR compliance, total rewards, and systems optimization align with company goals.
What You'll Do
- Act as a thought partner to the VP of Talent & Culture on organizational design, workforce planning, and people strategy.
- Serve as the operational lead for People programs, ensuring seamless integration across Culture, TA, and Leadership Development initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, guiding resolution in a fair, consistent, and value-driven manner.
- Equip managers to engage in constructive ongoing feedback and coaching conversations.
- Foster an environment where employees feel empowered to provide upward feedback and engage in open dialogue with management.
- Partner with Finance to manage compensation strategy, pay bands, and benefits optimization.
- Own the company’s performance review process, ensuring it promotes growth, accountability, and transparency.
- Own onboarding/offboarding, policy management, and employee records accuracy.
- Represent Talent & Culture in cross-functional leadership meetings as needed.
- Oversee HRIS, data integrity, and people analytics to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Lead process automation and AI-driven efficiencies in HR workflows.
- Lead, coach, and develop the People Operations Manager, HR Coordinator, and Office Coordinator.
What You'll Need
- 7+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience scaling people operations in a growth-stage tech or SaaS company preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR systems, analytics, and compliance.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution and influence across levels.
- Experience in change management and process optimization (AI and automation a plus).

This position is based out of our Atlanta office and will require that you come into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
