As a not-for-profit and full-service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence, a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers.

Anesthesia Technician 

Evenings 40 hours 

NO Call or Weekends

 

 

GENERAL SUMMARY: Prepares the anesthesia machines, ventilators, monitoring equipment and related anesthesia support equipment for the physician's use.  This individual will ensure that all anesthesia machines and monitoring and related equipment are properly maintained in all anesthetizing areas.  This will involve communication and interface with the biomedical department as well as factory service representatives. Assist the licensed anesthesia providers in various settings to include the OR, Endoscopy, Labor and Delivery, Proton Center or other areas where anesthesia supports. Perform duties under direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider and/or a Registered Nurse.      

Minimum Education and Experience:

  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. Healthcare experience is preferred.
  3. The Anesthesia Technician is an individual who has not met the requirements to apply for the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians national certification exam.
  4. Current CPR Certification required.

Salary Range: Minimum 19.56/hour - Maximum 32.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
