PRODUCTION

What We Do

Whether it’s driving a vision from start to finish or collaborating with teams to inspire and deliver projects of Epic quality, Epic’s production teams take pride in consistently delivering world-class products and experiences.

What You'll Do

At Epic, we’re looking for a Senior Producer to join our Development team — the group behind both Unreal Engine and Online Services. This is an incredible opportunity to help shape the future of the technology that powers not only Epic’s games, but also the broader game development ecosystem around the world. In this role, you’ll partner across the organization to drive stability, performance, and engine development. Our producers are the connective tissue that bring together platform, rendering, performance, server, game structure, and build pipeline initiatives — ensuring our teams stay aligned, deliver on ambitious goals, and continue to raise the bar for what’s possible. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves solving complex problems, and can bring calm and clarity to fast-moving teams. The ideal candidate has a background in game development or hardware frameworks, and has experience working directly with programmers and technical systems.

In this role, you will

  • Partner with technical leads, cross-functional partners, and Programming Directors to define initiatives, set priorities, and drive results across the vertical.
  • Establish and maintain roadmap visibility, tracking health, risks, and progress to ensure alignment across teams and leadership.
  • Lead and scale production operations to support the Metaverse vision, building effective team structures and delivery systems.
  • Oversee complex, cross-team initiatives, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution and delivery oversight.
  • Ensure successful product launches, managing schedules, dependencies, and performance goals through the optimization pipeline.
  • Drive clear communication with stakeholders by providing transparent updates on progress, risks, and impacts to upcoming releases.
  • Continuously refine workflows and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and overall execution across the organization.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex, technical projects through cross-functional leadership — aligning diverse teams, managing large-scale roadmaps, and balancing competing priorities to achieve results.
  • Strong background in game or software development, with a deep understanding of the development lifecycle, performance profiling, and optimization pipelines.
  • Ability to operate at multiple levels — from defining high-level strategies and scaling org structures to managing detailed, hands-on product initiatives.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and curiosity — you understand how complex systems work, and you want to know the “how” and “why” behind them.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to bring clarity and focus in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter who approaches challenges with creativity, structure, and a drive for resolution.
  • Experienced in partnering with programmers and technical leaders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Adept at navigating strong personalities and complex stakeholder groups while keeping projects on track and teams aligned.
  • Passionate about building great products, empowering teams, and helping shape the future of Fortnite and the Metaverse.
