Director of Strategic Accounts (Account Executive)
Nature Of Work
The Director of Strategic Accounts (Account Executive) is responsible for driving the growth and success of our most critical customer accounts. This role involves developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders, identifying opportunities for account growth, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and value. The Director will collaborate closely with internal teams to create tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of strategic accounts and will play a pivotal role in achieving our company’s revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop deep understanding of clients’ business goals, strategies, and challenges to position our solutions effectively.
- Proactively address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for account growth and expansion within assigned accounts.
- Develop and execute account strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Leverage market and industry knowledge to identify trends and opportunities for innovation.
- Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within strategic accounts.
- Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with clients to ensure alignment and identify opportunities for additional value.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams including Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized proposals and presentations.
- Share client feedback and insights with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Performance Management:
- Monitor and report on account performance, including revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Prepare and present regular account reviews and reports to senior leadership.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all account activities and communications in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in strategic account management or sales, preferably within [industry].
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
