- Lead planning and implementation of state, district, and campus assessment programs.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local mandates related to assessment, accountability, and the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA).
- Implement and monitor the TIA program in collaboration with Curriculum & Instruction and School Leadership.
- Collaborate with the Office of School Leadership to ensure alignment between student growth measures and teacher performance data.
- Coordinate and evaluate district-level assessments and review results of all testing programs.
- Oversee analyses of assessment data to determine impacts on students, teachers, and campuses.
- Work with district departments to maintain high-quality assessment and student growth measures.
- Lead District Gifted and Talented (G/T) and Credit by Exam (CBE) testing.
- Research and validate third-party and internal student growth assessments.
- Develop and maintain manuals, protocols, training materials, and assessments related to TIA.
- Ensure TIA policies, compensation plans, and operational procedures are current and effective.
- Provide updates on TIA goals and progress to leadership and the Board of Trustees.
- Lead professional development and training for assessment and TIA implementation.
- Provides oversight of the training of campus testing coordinators to ensure valid administration, scoring, and security of state and local assessments, including those related to the Teacher Incentive Allotment program.
- Develop support protocols for online test preparation, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Assist assessment committees with testing for specialized populations, including 504 and Special Education.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration with campus leaders, advisory boards, DAT, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the district on committees, task forces, and special events.
- Partner with departments to identify needs, track data, and monitor effective practices for TIA and leadership.
- Ensure assessment operations support the district’s mission, vision, and Lone Star Governance (LSG) goals.
- Manage budgets, projects, and timelines for assessment and accountability programs.
- Support goals and objectives of the District’s Strategic Plan and Lone Star Governance Goals.
- Supervises and evaluates all professional and auxiliary staff as assigned.

Function
The Director of Strategic Evaluations and Assessment Supports supports the Chief Officer of Accountability and Student Support Services in advancing district and campus goals, major initiatives, and continuous-improvement efforts. Provides direct oversight of the Teacher Incentive Allotment program and the Office of Assessment and Accountability. Leads the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of district strategic evaluation systems that align with district priorities and support long-term sustainability of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) and district assessment and accountability programs. Responsibilities include effective budget and project management, producing timely and accurate reports, and fostering strong collaboration with internal departments, campus leaders, and external partners.
