Due to our on-going success securing large-scale projects for 2025, we have a requirement for Autodesk Plant 3D Designer.
:- Develop and update P&IDs using Autodesk Plant 3D based on process data, specifications, and engineering input
- Manage and update Plant 3D databases (tagging, line lists, and instrument data)
- Translate process data into clear, symbol-based drawings following ISA and project-specific standards.
- Ensure tagging, line numbering, and instrument data align with project databases and standards.
- Extract and format reports such as line lists, valve lists, and instrument indexes for project deliverables.
- Ensure tagging conventions, line numbering, and instrumentation identifiers match project databases and line lists.
- Perform data integrity checks to spot inconsistencies between P&IDs, line lists, instrument indexes,
- Apply correct line types, valve symbols, instruments, and equipment representations.
- Utilize automation tools (e.g., custom queries, scripts, or Data Manager filters) to automate repetitive tasks such as bulk tag updates, symbol replacements, and batch data validation, improving efficiency and reducing manual errors.
- Incorporate redlines and revisions, maintaining strict version control.
- Work with project administrators to set up and optimize Plant 3D project templates, symbol libraries, and custom tags.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing training on best practices, standards, and software use.
- Work closely with process engineers to confirm process intent and equipment parameters.
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, CAD Design, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience using Autodesk Plant 3D (P&ID and database modules) for EPC or industrial projects.
- Familiarity with piping systems, valves, instruments, and process equipment used in Pharma, oil & gas, chemicals, power, or related industries.
- Understanding of industry codes and standards: ISA, ISO, and company-specific drafting conventions.
- Good working knowledge of P&ID development; comfortable reading, interpreting, and implementing P&IDs.
