The Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) Team at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics needs self-starting, motivated engineers who are willing to leverage their strengths in a team environment. We support the Warfighter from obsolescence threats by integrating affordable solutions to ensure readiness. The Aero DMS Team (ADT) is an established focal point for integrating obsolescence solutions across the various lines of businesses (LOB) at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. As part of the ADT organization, the DMS Fighter Groups support the F-35, and ADP programs based in Fort Worth, Palmdale, & Marietta. These systems engineers receive an extraordinary level of visibility as well as exposure to programmatic implementation while acting as integrators across a wide range of disciplines both internal and external to the Engineering Technology organization. The DMS Engineers are critical to the production and sustainment of the F-35, and ADP fleet, with a proven record of mitigating industry obsolescence threats.
The candidate will perform duties which incorporate the analysis of technical and obsolescence data such as Bills of Material (BOM) and other industry reports, as well as inventory management and coordination, in order to identify potential impacts to a program. The candidate will also manage, review and disposition DMS Supplier Data Requirement Lists (SDRLs), and develop, coordinate, and support the presentation of DMS Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to the program Customer.
In addition, the candidate will be a stakeholder in the maintenance and development process of various tools which are used by the team for tracking, coordinating, and executing DMS mitigation cases. Applying knowledge and experience in working with relational databases and using VBA and SQL, the candidate will help adapt critical toolsets to the ongoing demands of the programs and help to incorporate these utilities as Aeronautics standards.

Basic Qualifications
Engineering Bachelors degree from an accredited college
Knowledge of electronic components, DMS and Project Management.
Industry experience in utilization of trade studies and business case analyses to recommend options for DMS mitigations.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
