SUMMARYThe architect focuses on taking architecture domain outputs, gap assessments, and migration plans developed by enterprise architects and creating implementation plans that span several application areas. He or she ensures alignment between enterprise architecture strategy and active projects or short-term change initiatives. Architects may specialize in business processes, solutions (applications), information (data), or technical infrastructure. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, working closely with enterprise architects to understand and influence strategy, while also coaching senior technical staff and guiding process and technical development to link individual teams into cohesive solutions.
