Additional Information: Show/Hide Position Overview The Game Day Operations Worker will support the Athletics Department by handling a variety of general operational tasks for smooth and successful events. This role is responsible for setup, teardown, logistics, crowd management, and other essential tasks that complement the work of Sales & Tickets, Scoreboard Operators, and Announcers.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Setup & Teardown
Assist with the setup of event spaces, including placement of chairs, tables, signage, and other necessary equipment.
Help with breakdown and cleanup after events to ensure the facility is ready for the next use.
Logistics & Crowd Management
Support on-site logistics such as directing parking, managing entry points, and assisting in crowd control.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain an organized and safe event environment.
General Event Support
Run errands and provide assistance where needed throughout the event.
Serve as a point of contact for resolving last-minute operational issues during game days.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly.
Qualifications:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Willingness to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and moving equipment.
Prior experience in event operations, facilities management, or a similar role is a plus.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
