Responsibilities
- Perform Maintenance: Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including PLCs, motors, drives, and other automated equipment.
- Read and Interpret Schematics: Use electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to identify and address electrical problems.
- Install and Test Systems: Install, test, and calibrate electrical systems and components in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate on Schedules: Work with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Working Conditions
- Work in a manufacturing environment exposed to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, and automation equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- Technical diploma or certification in electrical maintenance with Red Seal or willingness to obtain.
