| The EHR Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to ensure seamless clinical workflows, regulatory compliance, and data integrity within a behavioral health/integrated care setting. This role serves as the primary liaison between clinical staff, administrative teams, and technology vendors, ensuring the EHR system supports high-quality patient care and organizational efficiency. |

Education: | Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited university/college is required. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Certification in Health Information Management, or EHR systems administration, is preferred. |
Experience: | A minimum of 3 years of experience administering EHR systems in healthcare or behavioral health/integrated care setting is required. Familiarity with behavioral health/integrated care documentation standards and regulatory requirements is required. Experience with data analytics and reporting tools is required. Experience with behavioral health/integrated care operations or clinical workflows is strongly preferred. |
Specific Skills andrequirements: | Must be at least 21 years of age. General technical requirements include proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any other applications used by the organization or regulatory agencies. Strong understanding of EHR platforms. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users with varying levels of technical knowledge. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain HIPAA compliance. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must be able to provide exceptional customer service. Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and insurability. Technical requirements include proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and any other applications used by the organization or regulatory agencies. Ability to understand and relate to the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to read, write and converse in English. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen. Successful completion of a background screening. Successful completion of a TB skin test or proof of a negative chest x-ray or other documentation. |
Specialized Licenses or training: | Successful completion of Excellent Foundations. Maintain 20 hours of annual training. |
