Responsibilities
- Understand total distribution and store operations, with an emphasis on vendor supply chain programs and manage these supply chain programs to provide lower cost of product
- Develop, monitor and report key performance indicators, including both cost management and store service, for all distribution operations
- Provide guidance in distribution and supply chain initiatives with division and suppliers
- Responsible for supervision of Distribution Center associates, establishing operational procedures
- Executes all operational day-to-day activities
- Accountable for safety and associate engagement process
- Develop and implement operational and capital budgets to include technology, facilities and equipment
- Oversee, manage and report operational expenses compared to budget and prior years
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; completes performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports

Qualifications
Minimum
- 5+ years Logistics experience
- General management skills, operational experience and knowledge of warehouse and transportation management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Proven ability to lead, train and motivate a team and ability to develop others
- Ability to travel independently
- Level 12 - less than 1000 associates
- Level 13 - more than 1000 associates and or multiple sites

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years Logistics experience
