Lincoln Tech is seeking an Assistant Director of Career Services to closely collaborate with the Director of Career Services in overseeing the daily operations of our Career Services Department onsite in Mahwah NJ. In this role, you would coordinate job search and placement efforts for our students, as well working directly with our support staff ensuring top-notch performance and efficiency.
Requirements
- Associates degree with relevant experience in placement services
- Public speaking and strong telephone skills
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Preferred
- Previous Career Center, Human Resources, or recruitment experience
- Bachelor's degree
Responsibilities
- Assist the Regional Director or Director of Career Services in achieving targeted minimum placement rates
- Activate and maintains relationships with all graduates until employment is successfully secured, within field or related field of study
- Review and monitors the progress of applicants who are interviewing, by keeping in touch with them regularly by telephone
- Coordinate employer field trips, attends job fairs, and prepares print materials to generate job leads
- Plan and implements campus job fair events and employer presentations.
