Job Functions:
- Provide marketing support on a daily and weekly basis
- Create, verify, and test promotions for weekly ads, coupons, mailers, special promotions, and other Marketing initiatives daily
- Provide communication throughout the company at all levels concerning Loyalty Marketing initiatives
- Assist with Marketing special events, as needed
- Analyze operating practices within the Loyalty Marketing department to create and revise Loyalty Marketing Policy and Procedures manuals for each job function within the Loyalty Marketing department
- Compile information and provide reporting regarding Loyalty Marketing promotions and customer behavior
- Compile, determine eligibility for, and monitor ValuCard sweepstakes winners and data
- Attend weekly meetings regarding promotions, customer service, report findings and others, as needed
- Assist with answering and logging customer service calls and emails, as needed
- Maintain a weekly To-Do List and share with Loyalty Marketing Department
- Assist individual stores with Loyalty Marketing inquiries
- Provide support for Marketing programs and assist with Merchandising data requests
- Participate in continuous reporting and systems training
- Compile, organize, and review Vendor Promotional Agreements
- Cross-train in all areas of the department to provide backup, as needed
- Provide assistance to the marketing department in all ValuCard programs and campaigns
- Continuously view, monitor, and report findings of competitor ads and Marketing initiatives
- Assist the Loyalty Marketing Director, as needed
- Responsible for attending on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job duties
- Ensure all aspects of company policy and procedures regarding good business and department practices are followed
Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain a high level of strict confidentiality
- Ability to discern the appropriate level of information to share with various levels of the business
- Proficient with reporting and data analysis
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as on an individual basis to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, in a professional manner
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in grocery distribution business, retail operations, or related field preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
