Summary: The Special Education EI Paraprofessional provides support for students with special needs’ working alongside Special Education Teachers
35 Hours per week
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher in general daily classroom activities
- Assist students with special needs
- Care for the students' physical and emotional health
- Behavior support which may include physical management (training available)
- Assist in small or large group student instruction under teacher direction
- Tutor students at teacher's request
- Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Preferred:
- Associate’s Degree in related field
- Teaching Certification
- Additional training and/or education
